My passion for real estate began while pursuing a career in property management as a Resident Manager at an apartment community in Madison, Wisconsin. For years, I believed my long-term path would be managing properties or hotels, since hospitality and customer service have always been a major part of who I am. However, everything changed after completing my real estate studies at MATC Madison College. Through the course, I gained a deeper understanding of the importance of homeownership and the responsibility that comes with helping Wisconsin families buy or sell a home fairly, honestly, and diligently. That experience inspired me to transition into real estate sales, where I can combine my knowledge, professionalism, and passion for helping others during one of the most important decisions of their lives. With over 10 years of experience in hospitality and customer service, I pride myself on treating every client with care, dignity, and respect. Whether assisting first-time homebuyers, families looking for their next home, or homeowners preparing to sell, my goal is to provide guidance, clear communication, and a positive experience every step of the way.

Hello! The city of Madison has been my home for the past 8 years, and I have loved every minute of it. My wife and I attended UW Madison together and fell in love with Madison (and each other). and the surrounding Dane county area. After several years in public service, I am looking to take my drive and determination to new horizons, and I want to use my talents to help you move to the life you want. We moved to the east side of Madison to be closer to my wife's job at GHC-East as a PA, where she also serves the community as family medical specialist. We enjoy the many parks, breweries, and other hidden gems of the city on weekends and hope you will find your perfect niche in town!. There are many incredible opportunities here to build the life you want, and I would be honored to be a part of that process. The diversity in Madison makes this city one of the best places to live in the midwest, and there is a home for everyone here. Whether buying or selling, my goal is to help you navigate the world of real estate as painlessly as possible. Together we can get you into the home of your dreams.

I was born and raised on a farm in the town of Middleton with my eight siblings. Born and raised in the Wisconsin Dells area, I’ve built my life and career throughout Sauk County and the Greater Madison region, staying closely connected to the communities I call home. My career began in hospitality, where I learned the importance of putting people first and delivering exceptional service—principles that continue to guide how I work with clients today. I later moved into property management for manufactured home communities, gaining hands-on experience with property values, community operations, and the day-to-day realities of helping people find and maintain a place to call home. That role strengthened my understanding of housing, investment, and the responsibilities that come with managing real property. Joining Stark Company, REALTORS allows me to bring all of that experience together and apply it directly to the real estate process. Outside of real estate, I’m all about family. My husband and I love a good scary movie night and taking our two boys to the local waterparks. We also enjoy hitting the trails with our dog, River—a Great Pyrenees/Bernedoodle mix who is a true giant, so around our house she’s known as “Big River.” The time we spend together keeps me grounded and reminds me why home matters so much, both personally and professionally.

If you are buying, he will work to provide you with the best information and market data to inform and assist you so you can be a well educated buyer with the strongest possible negotiating position. Joe understands that buying and selling real estate can be stressful. He will work hard to lower your stress level and make your experience as pleasurable as possible. He will accomplish this through constant communication, and by being accessible when you need him. Living in Monona near the East Side, Joe understands the numerous intangible benefits of life in the Madison area with its unique weather, culture, incredible outdoor activities and diversity. Joe joined Stark after spending several years in accounting, safety and risk management and customer service. Receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 1999 from Loyola University Chicago (arguably world's #1 Ramblers fan), he spent ten seasons at Wrigley Field as the Accounting Manager and then went on to excel in risk management and employee safety with a global foodservice company. When not assisting clients, Joe enjoys spending time with his partner Lacey and their cat Lucy. He enjoys all the outdoor activities that Madison and Wisconsin have to offer especially cycling, kayaking and hiking. He recently completed the 40th annual Door County Century Ride this past summer, his 10th 100-mile ride.

Hi, I’m Nicole Sletten, and I’m excited to help you navigate one of the biggest and most exciting decisions you can make—buying or selling a home! I’m a wife and mom to two young children, so I understand firsthand how important it is to find a place that truly feels like home. Hi, my name is Sandy McKinlay. I was born and raised in Jefferson Wisconsin, and have live in the Dane County area for over 30 years. My entire life has been dedicated to helping people in some form or another. Starting with my first job as a server, to a hair stylist to the 31 years I spent in health care. I served our community as a volunteer firefighter as well. Every one of those required its own special attention to detail as well as great listening skills. I believe you need to listen and understand before you can help. That is how I want to make your home buying or selling experience. It can be a scary thing, it’s a big step and that is why I am here to guide you every step of the way. I will listen to you and work hard to help you through the process. I will also be there after, to help in any way I can. That is what I am here for and that is what I do best! When I am not working I enjoy biking, boating, paddle boarding and listening to live music. Our community has so much to offer and we like to take advantage of it all.
